Sterling Development Executive Coaching

Participants coaching link global issues with real world experience in a concrete way that leads to creative, effective problem solving. Participants make those connections because they learn in a 1:1 environment. Unique learning methods encourage executives to discuss their own real business issues, swap ideas and solve problems. Personal coaching can be used to support training and can take place on the job and/or by using 360º analysis from direct reports, peers and line manager. These individual sessions will consist of situational coaching to address critical difficulties, personal development and career planning. The points at which coaching is applied will be subject to discussion between the Sterling Development consultant and client.

Sterling Development Certification & Evaluation
back to top

Before any program we define measurable criteria linked to specific results. Delegate satisfaction levels are also measured at key points during the process. In today’s competitive environment, companies must to be able to measure the skills and competencies of its people. All companies are struggling with the same challenge - how to develop sound methods to measure, evaluate, assess and even clarify their employee’s proficiency.

When we depend upon critical skills, we need objective measurements to ensure that our employees indeed possess these skills. CV’s, job interviews and training history are indicators of skills, but not a measure of skills.

In order to meet these needs, Sterling Development has created a full spectrum of services, including:

  • Certification business case development
  • Program planning, consulting and design
  • Training measurement and evaluation planning
  • Task analysis
  • Test development and validation
  • Psychometric services: scoring and statistical analysis
  • Assessment methodologies

If you wish to validate your employees’ skills, Sterling Development Certification and Evaluation service is an invaluable resource for you.

Performance and Competence Consulting Service
back to top

With businesses growing increasingly complex, it’s no longer safe to assume that individual, departments or organisational performance problems can be corrected simply by training. The obstacle may not be the lack of skills or knowledge. It could be an unnoticed bottleneck in corporate communications, ineffective management behaviours, an environment that inhibits motivation, or any of many other diverse but interrelated factors.

So how do you know if it’s really training that an organisation needs? If it is, who should get it? What type? How much? Sterling Development gives you these answers.

Once we understand your organisation’s/division’s goals and strategies, the analysis begins. We determine the optimum performance, competencies and skills needed. Then we ascertain the current skill levels of your staff. If there is a gap, we will determine its magnitude, investigate the causes and show you how to close it.

The Sterling Approach to Performance and Competency Service addresses four areas:

Organizational Human Performance Analysis
We will examine your organizational structure, management systems and processes, environmental elements, people motivators and behaviours to determine which are enhancing staff performance and which are the problem areas.

Competency and Skills Management
The organization’s core competencies form the foundation for the organization’s strengths.

Identifying the Key abilities of its teams, relevant job families and establishing the competencies will assist areas of individual expertise and skill. Sterling will help you determine, manage and develop core and specific competencies and skills at all levels to improve performance in every area

Learning and Performance Support Design
We will assess the need for custom-designed learning environments and creative training solutions to give you the overall performance results you want. But this service goes further, as the learning environments have developed exponentially over the past years with dramatic results being achieved by involving the end user in the design.

Performance Measurement
Sterling does not set up your training and performance systems and walk away. Performance measurement assures that your organization is truly getting the performance improvements it expects and provides the information necessary for fine tuning.
